 Richmond go on to win with a converted Try in extra Time to take the Play Off 20  points to 13.

Well done to Richmond now Promoted to National 1.

Commiserations to Caldy but taking it to the wire proved it was a game that was too close to call!

The National Clubs Association (NCA)      Chairman's Notes (9)

We have now completed our final League Saturday of the 2011/12 Season with only the play off remaining.

Congratulations and good luck go to Jersey who leave us to join the Championship following back to back promotions and also to Loughborough Students and Old Albanians who are promoted to Nat 1 from Nat 2 N & S respectively.

We now await the outcome of the Play Off between Richmond and Caldy on Saturday 5^th May, with the prize being the final promotion place in National 1.

Commiserations go to Barking, Birmingham Solihull and Stourbridge who are relegated from National 1 and also to Harrogate, Kendal, Nuneaton, Barnes, Westcombe Park and Hertford who are relegated from Nat 2 N & S respectively.

A very warm welcome to the NCA, to the newly promoted Bournemouth and to the returners to the NCA, Esher from the Championship, Darlington Mowden Park, Canterbury and Rugby, but also by way of the Play Offs, to Dudley Kingswinford and Chinnor, good luck to all of you.

I hope you enjoy the new challenge of National rugby, the pinnacle of the Community Game and the Bridge to the Elite game.

It has been another interesting season which has gone down to the wire and fortunately has not been disrupted too much by bad weather.

Good luck to you all for the coming season but I do look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at the AGM at Stourbridge on Sunday 24^th June at Stourbridge Rugby Club.
