Many congratulations to Hartpury College on winning National two South, they were pushed all the way by both Ampthill and Canterbury both of whom are in with a chance of getting into the the playoff.

Things could not be tighter at the top of National one, the winner to be decided on the last Saturday between both Doncaster and Rosslyn Park.

Similarly in National two North with three teams Macclesfield, Stourbridge and Darlington Mowden Park all of whom are in with a chance of winning the league or a playoff place.

At the other end of the tables, commiserations to those clubs already demoted and good luck to those who are fighting for survival.

I would like to mention one club in particular who have had a torrid season and have not won a game as yet, Dudley Kingswinford. I went to one of their games recently and found the club to be in good heart despite their lack of success on the field. Good luck to them for next season and hopefully we will see you back in the National leagues soon.

Norman Robertson
