Chairmans notes 2012/13

 

Congratulations to Ealing Trailfinders on winnng National One, we wish them every good fortune in the Championship.

The season has seen one a closely contested competition for promotion from both Nat 2 North & South with the automatic place down to the last game in each league.

Henley in Nat 2 South and Hull Ionians in Nat 2 North going up as Champions, together with Worthing who won a closely contested play off with a converted try in injury time.

Commiserations to Macclesfield,  Sedgley Park and Cambridge who are relegated to Nat 2 N&S, also to Barking,  Lydney,  Westoe, Stockport, Huddersfield and Westoe who all drop to level five, good luck to you all and I hope to see you with us again soon.

A warm NCA welcome to Doncaster from the Championship, also toAmpthill, Bishops Storford, Chester, Exmouth, Harrogate and London Irish Wild Geese, congratulations on winning your respective leagues and playoffs. I hope that you enjoy the new challenge of National league rugby.

Have a good summer, which I hope includes a Lions series victory.
